LADIES, HAVE YOU HEARD ABOUT THE ATLAS NETWORK?

ATLAS is an active global community of female-identifying lawyers, activists, and jurists with expertise in various facets of public international law and human rights law from all around the world.

ATLAS creates a space on Facebook where women in the human rights field can reach out to each other for information, career advice, mentoring, and more general support. On the odd occasion jobs are also advertised here.

WHAT'S THE CATCH?

The ATLAS Facebook group is secret and hidden to the general public. Only members can view posts and can add others into the group. You basically have to know someone and get them to add you to be allowed to join the network.

HOW DO I BECOME A MEMBER?

If you're dying to become a member of this legendary group, I would suggest asking other women in the field if they are a part of the Facebook group and whether they can add you into it.

If you're not working in the field and you are a student, email your human rights lecturers and set up a meeting to chat with them about "uni work". Once you have your meeting set in stone, use it as an opportunity to ask them about whether they are a part of the ATLAS network and if they are get them to add you into the group!
